Founded in 1955, the iconic and beloved by the youngest Puppet and actor theater "Vinny" in Kielce received a new, much larger and adapted to the needs of the modern audience headquarters at 9 Zamkova Street. Already in August 2024, the next season of art events began on the boards of its theater stages, this time in a completely new format. new quality and using modern market technological solutions.
Under the close supervision of the restorer, the historical buildings of the former blacksmith shop and Starostinsky dvor were adapted for the needs of the theater. They were connected to each other by a new building, which is currently a scenic chimney, which allowed us to get about 2 thousand m2 of usable area. New interiors accommodate m.in. spacious foyers, changing rooms, office and administrative rooms, actors ' dressing rooms, as well as warehouses, workshops and theater studios. The heart of the new headquarters is primarily two modern stages – a large one (approx. 150 seats) and a small one (approx. 80 seats) - the PS theater is equipped with technological elements in the field of lighting, multimedia, electroacoustics and stage mechanics, which significantly increase the existing production capabilities.

TECHNOLOGICAL LIGHTING
The new headquarters is a great space to showcase the capabilities of the 12-piece ELATION FUZE PROFILE moving headlamps with a 305W RGBMA motor and 4 full-dimming rotating wing system. A high CRI of 92, a zoom range from 7° to 42°, CMY emulation, ready-made animation effects, or a wide range of available gobos ensure that the lighting director's vision is seamlessly transformed into a physical form. In addition, 2 pieces of FUZE PROFILE were delivered in the CW version, characterized by the presence of a white LED source with a power of 380 watts.
The pool of mobile floodlights of the wash type has also been greatly expanded. On the lighting bridges, you can find both 12 large ACME NEOZONE spotlights and 28 smaller ones than the washy ACME OXYGEN. The heart of the NEOZONE head is 19 high-quality 40W RGBW LEDs each. The device allows you to individually control each of the pixels, use ready-made shapes, rings, and macros prepared by the manufacturer. The output illumination power is up to 9,000 lumens, which provides an extremely bright luminous flux over the entire range of electronic zoom operation(from 4° to 50°). In addition to the standard color mixing capabilities (RGBW), the device also has a variable CTO from 2500k to 8000k with a CRI above 90. In turn, its compact counterpart-OXYGEN-has a 7X40 W RGBW LED source, fast magnification from 6° to 40° , and built-in beam/wash effects.
Classic lighting solutions could not be absent in the space of the hall-the cult profile spotlights ETC SOURCE FOUR ZOOM with a light bulb with a power of 750 W(6 pcs. in the 15°-30° version and 12 pcs. in the 25°-50° version) with IRIS crop and aperture. Their analog in the form of an LED source is 16 pcs. profile lights DTS PROFILO LED 200 FC (200W RGBW LED, silent operation, zoom in the range of 19°-41°). The pool of conventional theater lighting was supplemented with 40 pcs of PC – DTS Scene S (1 kW, zoom in the range of 10°-64°), as well as 4 pcs. reflectors of the LDR Tono 8/22 2kW profile and 4 pcs. head lamp PC-LDR Tono PC 2KW.
Fill the horizon with color through 6 pieces of proven 360W ELATION PALADIN BRICK floodlights with an asymmetric 10 ° x60°filter.
Two LED strobes with a luminous efficiency of 40,000 lumens each-ELATION Protron 3K COLOR, as well as High End System FQ100 smoke generators, CLF HAZE II fog generators and UV spotlights-ACME STAGEPAR UV-significantly expand the range of impressive creations during concerts and theater performances.
Given the age of the target audience, the bubble maker could not be enough. The choice fell on the product of the brand, which is the undisputed leader in all types of stage effects-MAGIC FX. The SMOKEBUBBLE BLASTER fills the stage space with a capacity of 6000 bubbles per minute. The bubbles can be filled with smoke inside, which, combined with the use of implemented technological lighting, allows you to create amazing effects that attract the attention of not only the youngest viewers, but also their parents.
As part of the implementation, PS Theater also provided 2 external graphic projectors that allow you to m.in. displaying gobos on the building's facade.
An extensive power supply system for process lighting and a flexible lighting control network based on both the DMX and Ethernet standards were distributed in the halls. Power switches allow you to easily change the operating mode of each of the circuits one at a time (adjustable/unregulated), as well as remotely turn them on and off from the performer's cabin. The voltage regulation of individual circuits is carried out by means of wall regulators PLS PEGASUS WM, offering a total of 180 circuits of 3 kW each.
An additional solution that facilitates the work of the lighting team is the possibility of self-electrification of two decorative rods using specialized cable retractors located directly above the desired rod.
Large stage lighting cameras are controlled by the famous flagship digital console ChamSys MQ500M, which natively supports up to 256 station wagons. Technological lighting of a small stage is controlled by a compact console of the same brand-MQ70. Additional support is the DMX PROPLEX 8-TRACK mobile controller / recorder, which allows you to record and replay specific lighting scenes later.
The consoles collaborate on signal distribution with nine reliable DMX/Ethernet converters – OBSIDIAN RDM10, two mobile 4-port DMX / Ethernet gateways – OBSIDIAN EP4, and five proven DMX10-5 splitters. If it is necessary to use wireless transmission of the DMX signal, technicians have prepared stable multi-channel sets of transmitters and receivers of the CITY THEATRICAL 5900 Multiverse series, supplied in the amount of 12 pieces.
The control problem is complemented by the author's PS Theatre-SPECTRE system, which combines power supply circuit management, multimedia functions management, as well as basic lighting of the hall with the ability to remotely lock control panels at the entrances to the hall during performances. Large touch-screen monitors in the driver's cabs allow you to maintain confident and comfortable control over the entire power supply system.
MULTIMEDIA SYSTEMS
Trzon urządzeń systemu multimedialnego stanowi elektrycznie rozwijany ekran projekcyjny firmy KAUBER o proporcjach 16:10 i szerokości 7m, współpracujący z głównym projektorem laserowym EPSON EB-PU2213B o mocy 13000 lm. Dostępne są również 4 mobilne projektory o mocy 7000 lm, które dzięki dużej gamie wymiennych obiektywów umożliwiają wykonywanie m.in. projekcji scenograficznych we współpracy z mobilnymi ekranami STUMPFL Monoblox o przekątnej 168” (projekcja przednia/tylna) czy też przy wykorzystaniu białego horyzontu projekcyjnego. Możliwa jest także projekcja we foyer. Każda z sal może pochwalić się obecnością wydajnego mediaserwera (4 wyjścia) z oprogramowaniem Resolume Arena 7 i grabberem oraz miksera wideo RGB LINK M2. Za system dystrybucji sygnału wideo w przypadku Dużej Sceny odpowiada matryca wideo 16×16 ATEN VM1600 wraz z kompletem kart I/O w standardzie HDMI i SDI. W przypadku Małej Sceny jest to matryca 8×8 HDMI firmy RGB LINK FLEX 8. Pełną dowolność w przesyle sygnału wideo w relacjach SDI<->HDMI czy też HDMI<->HDbaseT zapewniają duże ilości mediakonwerterów i ekstenderów sygnału firmy ATEN oraz system bezprzewodowej transmisji sygnału wideo. Zapis przebiegu prób, spektakli, a nawet wykorzystywanie materiału wideo na żywo umożliwia kamera mobilna PANASONIC HC-X2000 z bezpośrednim wyjściem SDI. Wszystkie sygnały wideo mogą być przekazywane bezpośrednio poza budynek dzięki obecności zewnętrznego przyłącza sygnałowego w elewacji.
A preview of the stage action is performed using PTZ cameras controlled by the POM. implementer and 32 " monitors located in key areas for the performance, such as stage entrances, dressing rooms, performance booth, silence room, etc. The signal from the cameras is also transmitted to the mastermind station and can be recorded on a hard disk a video recorder.
A digital signage system is installed in the elegant lobby area, which is used to distribute and display prepared information and marketing content (presentations, videos, illustrations). The footage is transmitted from a video server with LG CMS SUPERSIGN software to 9 dedicated 55 " 4K LCD displays with built-in players, according to the specified schedule. Three displays were placed on mobile tripods, which allowed them to be installed at any point, as well as easily rotate 90 degrees to a vertical position.
STAGE MECHANICS
The big stage stage mechanics system, implemented in collaboration with MIKOR Engineering, includes 2 audience lighting bridges, 2 audience speaker rods designed for immersive sound needs, 9 decorative rods, 5 stage lighting bridges (including two side ones), and two curtain rods. As part of the lower mechanics, the theater has a front-stage hatch and three stage hatches with a working pitch of 330 cm. Transportation of the decor is facilitated by two cargo lifts-a side pocket and a landing. The complex is complemented by a portal bridge permanently connected to the technical galleries, two portal towers, sliding and boom towers, as well as fixed rails. In turn, the small stage for mechanics was equipped with 5 lighting bridges, which, in addition to the standard up and down movement, also have the ability to move forward and backward thanks to the use of a gantry mechanism. Both stages were also equipped with a comprehensive ocotaring system, as well as a set of system platforms that can be selectively used or created, for example, for installation. the auditorium is staggered along with a set of 80 chairs.
We also delivered 4 compact GUIL ELC 730 telescopic lifts designed to lift loads weighing up to 125 kg to a maximum height of 4.56 meters.
ELECTROACOUSTIC SYSTEMS
The big stage of the Winnie Theater boasts an immersive sound system that allows you to surround the viewer with three-dimensional sound to some extent and allow them to move to the very center of the reality reproduced within the performance. This system is based on the main groups and a range of kling & FREITAG speakers, as well as a YAMAHA immersive sound and 3D reverb processor. PS Theater, in collaboration with ABLO GROUP, has equipped the facility with a comprehensive set of electroacoustic and inspirational systems, including acoustic consoles, listening monitors, SENNHEISER wireless sets, microphone sets and stage accessories, recorders and turntables, as well as audio signal distribution systems (on-screen). based on the Dante Protocol), wireless communication and intercom, stage listening, broadcast system, digital clock network and "silence" banners.
Each of the halls also has a hearing support system based on a wireless network. It allows you to transmit a specific audio stream to the mobile devices of people in the audience, who, through the app installed in them and their own headphones/hearing aids, can more comfortably experience events on stage. The Personal Hearing Assistant allows users to fine-tune the audio signal to suit their individual hearing needs. Using the app on your smartphone's touch screen makes operation simple and intuitive. This system can also be successfully used for simultaneous translation purposes.
Located on the Castle Hill, the new house of the Puppet and actor theater "Winnie", thanks to the introduced stage technologies, will undoubtedly become a permanent, cyclical place for children and young people to visit, where they will always return with a smile to once again experience the emotions associated with learning the world of theater, this time in comfortable conditions.
