Proteus Hybrid at the exclusive Audi e-tron presentation

German automaker Audi wanted to draw attention to its first all-electric car model, the Audi e-tron, in a special way. At the Kitzbuhel Alpine resort in Austria, he produced a unique spectacle that was designed by lighting designer Chris Moylan of Optikalusion. Out of the many devices he had to choose from, he chose the Elation Proteus Hybrid –"this is the only device that can handle this task." For this project, you will need a powerful IP65 lamp that can be placed every few meters on very rough terrain full of snow and ice in the Austrian Alps environment, including temperatures below freezing. "The Proteus Hybrid is resilient. It is weather-resistant, bright and reliable. This is the perfect equipment for this kind of event"”
Moylan designed the event's lighting together with creative agency DREINULL, who developed the lighting concept and initial design. According to LD, the lighting was quite bright-a forest of rays that could react to cars driving on a narrow, winding mountain road. "Cars drove past sensors, which then triggered a series of lights, set the devices in motion, and created lighting above the car. The pure blue from Proteus remained bright enough to show off the sharp beam of the beam, giving the forest a magical, otherworldly look. As the cars passed, the lights headed to the ground and waited for the next car."210 Elation Proteus hybrid devices are installed along the entire route. We invite you to take a look at the gallery of this unusual event – it looks really amazing.
